Policy Eligibility Assumptions

We have made the following assumptions about you, which you must confirm are correct to be eligible for this Insurance:

  • You are a UK resident
  • You are the home owner
  • The property and its outbuildings are built of standard construction, with brick/stone walls and a tiled/slate roof
  • You have an existing policy of Home Insurance in place and have informed them/ will inform them within the next 30 days that You let Your room on a short-term basis
  • You have not had more than 3 Home Insurance or Host Insurance claims in the last 5 years
  • You are operating Your room letting in compliance with any local authority regulations, laws and within any relevant permissions or statutory conditions that may exist
  • You agree to provide and or give Us permission to access Your letting history including with the Sharing Platform(s) as required
  • The property is a residential property in a good state of repair and is not undergoing renovation You have read and understood the policy summary and Inlet terms of business
  • You are a UK resident
  • You confirm that you are a Private Tenant and are not one of the following tenant types: Local Authority, Asylum Seeker, Care and Support/ DSS referral/ Council support tenants who receive benefits for more than 50% of their total income
  • You have the written permission of the Landlord to act as a Host
  • You have an existing policy of Home Insurance in place and have informed them/ will inform them within the next 30 days, that You let Your property on a short-term basis
  • You have not had more than 3 Home Insurance or Host Insurance claims in the last 5 years
  • The property and its outbuildings are built of standard construction, with brick/stone walls and a tiled/slate roof
  • You are operating your room letting in compliance with any local authority regulations, laws and within any relevant permissions or statutory conditions that may exist
  • You agree to provide and or give us permission to access your letting history including with the Sharing Platform(s) as required
  • The property is in a good state of repair and is not undergoing renovation
  • You have read and understood the policy summary and Inlet terms of business
  • You are a UK resident
  • You are a private landlord
  • The property and its outbuildings are built of standard construction, with brick/stone walls and a tiled/slate roof
  • You have an existing policy of Landlord Insurance in place and have informed them/ will inform them within the next 30 days, that You let Your house out to short term guests
  • You have not had more than 3 Landlord Insurance or Host Insurance claims on the Insured Property in the last 5 years
  • You are operating Your house letting in compliance with any local authority regulations, laws and within any relevant permissions or statutory conditions that may exist
  • You agree to provide and or give Us permission to access Your letting history including with the Sharing Platform(s) as required
  • The property is in a good state of repair and is not undergoing renovation You have read and understood the policy summary and Inlet terms of business
